In the World Sikh News dated June 10, 1988, on Page 23, a news item “Colorful Punjabi Nite at Los Angeles” it was incorrectly mentioned that the show was sponsored by 60 families each contributing $50,00. The actual position was that the show was sponsored by the Sikh community. The organizer had decided to sponsor the educational expenses of the children of the sixty families, who had lost their parents during 1984 holocaust on the basis of $50.00 each out of the proceeds of the show.
