CALCUTTA, India, June 13, Reuter: Four days of incessant rain have flooded large parts of Calcutta, India’s biggest city, halting traffic in the main business district and knocking out many telephones.

The Calcutta metrological office said on Monday 21.4 cm of there were more torrential down rain had fallen in the four days and pores to come.
