HONG KONG, Reuter: Four foreign teachers have been expelled from the southern Chinese city of Canton for preaching free sex, a Hong Kong newspaper said today.

The pro Peking Ta Kung Po Said in a report from Canton that the English teachers were members of the Christian sect children of God which advocates sexual freedom,

They were ordered to leave the county after authorities discovered that several hundred Chinese youths, many of them their students, had joined the sect, it said,

The Daily said the four were from the United States and Australia but did not name them. It did not say when they were expelled nor where they taught.

It said police in Guangdong province were cooperating with authorities in Hong Kong and Macao to eliminate religious heresy.

A Hong Kong police official told Reuters the sect was under investigation, but declined to give details about cooperation with China.
