CHANDIGARH: The unidentified gunmen killed three persons, including a BSF Jawan, during the last weekend in various parts of the state, while the security forces arrested five Sikh young men suspected as Sikh Freedom Fighters. The police have claimed to have recovered some weapons from them.

A report from Batala said that one Swarn Kaur was gunned down by some unknown persons at her house at V. Nathu Khera village near Dadian.

A bullet ridden body was recovered by the police at V. Bharat under Tarn Taran police station.

Mohinder Pal Singh a BSF Jawan posted at Ferozepur was taken out of a Punjab roadway near Chhrawal village under police station Jhubhal and was shot dead by some gunmen.

The Jawan was his way to Bhikhiwind on transfer orders from Ferozepur.

Another reported that the police arrested four Sikh young men near Rajpura. They were identified as Ashwini Kumar, Jang Bahader, Sawinder Singh and Salule Singh.
