London — Sikhs have once again organized broadcasts from Europe beginning on Wednesday, despite the cancellation of the programs of so called Khalsa Voice by Radio Luxembourg last month.
A half an hour program of “cultural, religious and historical’ items is to be broadcast from a station whose name and location was not disclosed by Dr. Jagjit Singh Chauhan, Khalistan President, who said that he had been interviewed for Wednesday’s program. The interview is in connection with the recent Sikh conference he had organized here but the program also deals with another meeting held here at the same time which discussed the unity of India.
Dr. Chauhan claimed that the station was in Europe and was _land based but Indian government suspects that the broadcasts may be made from a ship anchored in international waters off the southern coast of Britain.
The programs, according to Dr. Chauhan, have been organized by ‘Khalsa Voice International’ a company registered in New York. It is different from ‘Khalsa Voice’ which had organized the broadcasts from Radio Luxembourg, he said.
