CHANDIGARH India: Bhai Wassan Singh a member of the Five Member Committee called for judicial enquiry to the killing of Sikh young men by BSF in Dera Baba Nanak sector and Khem Karan sector to dispel doubts and to bring out the facts of the tragic incident In a statement issued to the press he declared that they would be forced to resort to direct action if immediate action was not taken against the police and B.S.F. personnel responsible for the killing of Sikh young men.
In a separate statement S Malkiat Singh a Damdami Taksal spokesman took strong exception to the police habit of blaming incidents of theft and dacoity on Taksal members.
