CHANDIGARH India: The finance minister of Punjab Mr. Balwant Singh left for USA for a weeklong visit. The Prime Minister Mr. Rajiv Gandhi it is believed cleared his visit a few days back. According to the programme Mr. Balwant Singh will reach U.S.A on July 21st. He will be accompanied by a police escort possibly an I.P.S. officer. The U.S government will also provide security guards during the visit because a Punjab Minister Mallat Singh Sidhu was recently attacked in Canada. Mr. Balwant Singh had earlier visited U.S.A for an eye operation and subsequent by for his checkup.
