‘The Bajrang Brigade is planning to invade and kill the Sikhs all over India. According to the instruction to its soldiers, no Sikh male, female or child is to be spared in this mass scale massacre which is being planned on 31st of October, 1986; the second anniversary of Indira Gandhi’s assassination. They also used a very foul and filthy language against the ‘Sikh community; labelling them as Ravanas and Dushats, It also warned that if the Sikhs are not exterminated then through their deeds they will contaminate and poison the sacred environment of India.

Despite this warning by the Hindu fanatics, no action has, so far, been taken by the local police. It seems to be much easy to trace but these bad elements who are verbalizing such violence and terrorism against the Indian Sikh minority.

The newspapers in India are generally distributed through hawkers, who can provide easy lead to solve the matter. But is ‘appears that this organization has the blessings of the State and Central Governments.

But agains Rajiv’s Government has failed to understand the implications of such threats.

Hanuman or Bajrang Bali, hods a unique place in the Hindu mythology. He is generally depicted as a savior and great warrior of the Hindu religion; He is shown as half man and half monkey. It is said that he raised an army of thousands of monkeys to help Rama in his fight against a famous Saint and scholar named Ravana of Sri Lanka. It is reported that Bajrang’s help at some critical points helped Rama to recover his wife named Sita who was earlier kidnapped and sexually molested by Ravana in revenge for the insult of his own sister by Luxman, Rama’s younger brother.

Now after thousands of years, Bajrang’s help is again being sought to exterminate the Sikhs from Indian horizon, In order to achieve its objective, a Hindu organization based in Lucknow, UP informed that similar to Hanuman’s monkey army, a Bajrang Brigade, has been constituted to fight against what it feels Ravana like torture inflicted on the entire Hindu community. Bajrang Brigade will draw its inspiration from the noble deeds of Hanumann.

Through handwritten posters, the copies of which were distributed through local newspapers in Lucknow.
