Chandigarh: Mr. Bhajan Singh, an assistant sub Inspector of Punjab police was shot dead by two gunmen on the Jagraon Hathur road last night. They also took away his service revolver, the police said. The A.S.I. who was posted at Hathur had come to Jagraon to attend court in connection with a case, Later he left by bus. The body of the ASI was found this morning i.e. January 15, 1986.
