NEW DELHI: A powerful bomb explosion fourth in the Indian Capital since the outbreak of the Gulf war rocked a cinema hall in a crowded area of old city Jan 27 evening injuring six persons two of them seriously police said.
The injured were admitted to hospitals where one of them was discharged after treatment police said adding the blast took place at 6 p.m. in the toilet of Jubilee Cinema in Chandni Chowk minutes before the evening show.
ON Jan 22 twin blasts rocked the police headquarters and district courts. Another explosion in a car near Delite cinema occurred on the eve of the republic day. A total of 51 persons have been injured in these blasts.

No group has so far claimed responsibility for the blast.
IMPHAL: Suspected armed militants Jan 24th hurled a powerful bomb at the all India radio station here in the capital of the insurgent infested northeastern border state of Manipur.
No one was injured official sources said.
The bomb exploded near the Sentry’s tower and damaged a part of the building’s brick-fencing.
Security forces cordoned off the area immediately after the incident and started checking all passersby. No one has been arrested so far.
Police and army personnel have sealed the Imphal market complex following reports of infiltration into the area by armed militants. A massive search operation has been launched the sources said.
Security personnel have been posted at all vulnerable points and precautionary measures taken to ensure that the republic day celebrations on Saturday pass off smoothly in the face of a boycott call by the banned People’s Liberation Army.
