Ameet Kaur Grewal is a twelve year old seventh grader attending ‘Thornton Junior High School, in Fremont, California. She will be honored June 9 during a ceremony at Stanford University for her high performance on the SAT test.
‘Normally taken by high school juniors and seniors for college admission, the SAT was taken by academically talented youth participating in the John Hopkins University Center for Talented Youth talent search.
Ameet received a score better than 75% of college bound seniors in both Verbal and Mathematical portions of the test. John Hopkins University is giving her two awards because of her distinguished scores.
‘Ameet is a daughter of Dr. Harpreet Singh Grewal and Mrs. Sukhbir Kaur Grewal. When asked about her achievements, Ameet says, “It is all because of my mother. She helps me all the time. The love and support encourages me to reach my goals in life.”
