Meanwhile, the state security board July 23 discussed in detail the measures to be taken to prevent the militants from disrupting the fond coming annual Amamath Yatra which is to begin from Jammu on August 10

The Governor is said to have enforced the board that it was not in the interest of the state or the nation to accept the militants demand for withdrawing troops from around the Hazratbal shrine.

 In fact, the security agencies have carried out trail helicopter flights to Shesianag this week and have claimed over 40 pilgrims. According to these reports, most of these pilgrims were family members of the security officials.

 These trial fights have encouraged the administration and incase of any emergency during the yatra days, the pilgrims could be airlifted to the cave.
