After serving the railway police in India, pushing and aggressive Amarjeet Dosanjh came to Stockton in U.S.A. in 1962 from Dosanjh Kalan, Jullundur.

He started his career as a farm worker and attended night classes at Delta College and later at U.O.P. He joined the San Joaquin Parks and Recreation Department in 1970 and is working to date. He is very active and keeps himself fit by exercising at West Lane Racquet Club. He was a football coach for North Stockton Bengals in ‘8183 and had been scoring games in Tokay Booster Club. He is father of three sons and his two sons are also good football players.

 

He is a very devoted Panthic worker and was Secretary of Gurdwara Sahib Stockton during 1971-73. He is happily married and his wife Avtar Kaur Dosanjh has been Trustee of Gurdwara Sahib for two years.
