VERNON, IL. In a joint appeal United Akali Dal Chief Baba Joginder Singh and Damdami Taksal Chief Baba Thakur Singh have called upon the Sikhs all over the world to extend support to International Sikh Youth Federation, The appeal released to the press on June 17, 1986, also clarifies that there were no differences between the two organizations. It was also emphasized that the two organizations would make concerted efforts to fulfill Sant Saynatl Sineh Bhindranwale mission of breaking the shackles of slavery.
In a separate communication All India Sikh Student Federation office secretary, S. Satwinder Singh Bholla also appealed to the youth to extend support to International Sikh Youth Federation which according to the communication is being ably steered by Bhai Lakhmir Singh in the absence of Bhai Jasbir Singh.
The copies of the communications were released here to the press by Dr. Arjinderpal Singh Khalsa, spokesman of International Sikh Youth Federation.
