MILTON: Royal Canadian Mounted Police officer Michael Brent Henderson has charged the famous Canadian Sikh wrestler Tiger Jagjit Singh Hans along with his relative Bahadur Singh Toor their partner Narinder Dev Sood and lawyer Ritchie James Linton of Brampton for the indictable offence of fraud in connection with an investment in real estate property of Rundle Park Village in Edmonton All four are charged for conspiring to commit offence between May 1989 and December 1991 under the Canadian Cardinals Code The RCMP took over two years for investigation.
Toor and Sood were arrested on June 29 1994 and brought handcuffed to the Milton Count where their legal aid lawyer Steve McCutcheon got them released on bail for $20000. They are to reappear on July 18 1994 to defend themselves
Tiger was out of Canada at that time but he and Linton may also appear in court shortly.
RCMP and local police are on the lookout of Tiger in connection with the investment case against him and because of Tigers wrester celebrity status the whole issue is expected to become great international media hype in Canada Japan U.K U.S.A India Courtesy: Sikh Press
