PATIALA: The Babbar Khalsa International has asked the civil surgeons and medical officers of Patiala Sangrur Ludhiana and Ropar district to stop vasectomy and tubectomy operations of Sikhs and Dalit’s residing in the rural areas in the name of family welfare programme. They have been advised to attend to the ailing people in the villages.
According to a press note issued on the letter head of the BKI Bhai Balwinder Singh Jatana said here that the Singhs had undertaken an extensive tour of Dera Bassi Kalaur Samrala Khanna Machhiwara Chanarthal Bassi Fatehgarh Sahib Gobindgarh Bhadson Kila Raipur Ahmedgarh and Nabha and observed that the doctors were still performing vasectomy and tubectomy operations in these areas. They have been warned to desist from taking family planning cases.
The BKI according to the press note alleged that certain doctors had been extracting money from the newly recruited persons in government jobs for conducting medical examination. The employees were told to give the names of such doctors to the BKI. The doctors were advised to serve the patients with a mission following in the footsteps of Bhai Ghanaya.
The district authorities of Patiala Sangrur Ludhiana and Ropar districts were advised to implement Punjabi in all departments in their respective districts.
The press note has been issued on behalf of Bhai Daljit Singh Dalli Bhai Amrik Singh Kauli Bhai Jagtar Singh Panjaula Bhai Baldev Singh Hawara Kalan and Bhai Harmit Bhauwal.
