LUCKNOW: The Bajrang Dal recently warned the Center that if it failed to solve the vexed Ramjanmah bhoomi-Babri Masjid issue within the stipulated three months, kar seva would be resumed at the Chilanyas site with renewed vigor.
No one will be able to stop us building the Ram temple,” BJP MP and Bajrang Dal supreme Vinay Katlyar told a large gathering at the shilanyas site as kar seva on the ‘Ram Chabutra’ came to a halt a little ahead of the scheduled time.
Meanwhile in a statement from Ahmedabad, Shahbuddin insisted that the VHP and Sadhu Samaj should stop any unlawful activity till the Supreme Court gave its observation determining whether the temple existed earlier which was demolished to construct the mosque.
Disapproving of the methods guest with VHP and Sadhu Samaj, he said that i it amounted to contempt of co and described Rao’s ‘action as a total surrender” to the Sadhu Samaj and VHP. Rao should not have fallen, prostrate before the people who violated the Constitution and did not honor the court’s directive, he felt.
He said that as a citizen of India he was shocked at the approach of the Prime Minister, who negotiated for almost, 20 days with the Uttar Pradesh Government, and later with VHP and Sadhu Samaj activists and subsequently surrendered to them. He said that Rao’s action was nothing but an insult to the dignity of the Constitution,
He said that he saw no difference between Punjab terrorists, Jammu and Kashmir militants or activists of Assam, and VHP and Sadhu Samaj activists, who showed scant respect for the Constitution and the court’s directive,
