LOS ANGELES: A dear friend of the Sikhs, Honorable Dan Burton will be at Gurdwara Lankershim in North Hollywood, California on March7, 1993 at 11:00.a.m. All members of the Sikh community in L.A., Orange and Riverside Counties are invited to welcome their champion of human nights and Sikh causes.
Jasbir Singh Tung, Dr J.S.Mann, Joginder Singh Sandhu of Riverside and Amarjit Singh “Matt” Dhillon are working very enthusiastically to spread the word about the arrival of Dan Burton. This congressman’s position as chair~ man of the committee dealing with U.S. foreign relations makes him a strong ally.
The Sikh community not only wants to honor him on March 7, but also to say thanks for his great efforts in the past, a memorandum will be presented about regarding: the atrocities in Punjab the action of Indian police against Sikhs.
