NEWYORK:  Sikh Cultural Society Richmond Hill has advised that, a meeting of the Sikh Sangat of the Slough Gurdwara of London England, honoring Dr. Gurpartal Singh Birk and four other recently freed Sikhs will be held on June 21, 1992.

The five, S. Gurparpal Singh Birk,

S.Sukhwinder Singh, S.Varinder Singh, S. Jasvir Singh Sandhu & S. Jatinder Singh Ahluwalia , had been held in U.S. jails. All were recently released deported. Now each resides in a different country. Therefore, the Sikh Cultural Society of Richmond Hill NY has put out a call to all Sangats to show this a day of honor. They ask especially that the Slough Gurdwara have Dr.Birk to stand as a representative of the others as the Sangat does their honors. The Sikh Cultural Society offers its appreciation to the Gurdwara.
