AMRITSAR: Top teams will be seen inaction during the 14th All India OCM Maharaja Ranjit Singh Gold Cup Hockey Tournament at the Guru Nanak Dev University Astroturf ground here. About 20 teams had sent their entries while only the top teams were selected to compete.
They include, BSF, ITBP, Namdhari XI, PSEB, HSEB, AirIndia, Punjab and Singh Bank, EME, Corps of Signals, PAP, Punjab Police, District Hockey Association, ASC, Rail Coach Factory, Northern Railway and JCT.
The teams tournament would be inaugurated by the Director, sports, Punjab. The opening tie would be between Corp of Signals vs DHA and PAP vs BSF at 2 p.m.
