CHANDIGARH: The local police recently claimed to have arrested a listed militant, Randhir Singh, alias Dheera, a resident of Gannupur village in Gurdaspur district, from the Sector 15 Gurdwara here, Randhir Singh took to militancy in 1985 and joined the Babbar Khalsa.
The police had laid an ambush near the Sector 15 Gurdwara where. He was captured.
The police have registered a case under the Terrorists and Disruptive Activities (Prevention) Act, and the Arms Act, apart from Section 188 of the Indian Penal Code.
