CHANDIGAR, India: A Jatha of Sikh pilgrimages will leave for Pakistan on June 11th the martyrdom day of Guru Arjun Dev. The pilgrims will celebrate the occasion by Bhog of the Akhand Path which will take place at Gurdwara Dehra Sahib on June 13th. According to S.G.P.C. sources the departure of the pilgrims was delayed by almost a week on account of Id celebrations in Pakistan. The Jatha will leave Amritsar by a special train; it will visit Dehra Sahib, Nanakana Sahib and Punjab Sahib and will return on June 19th. The Punjab Government, S.G.P.C. sources said, did not give permission to thirty persons to visit that country. The Centre withheld the permission to thirty-two persons. The Jatha now comprises about five hundred persons.
