CALCUTTA: The Indian Kabaddi squad for the Beijing Asian Games will be selected in Bangalore according to Mr Achinta Kumar Saha, secretary general of the Asian Amateur Kabaddi Federation, here.
Mr Saha said for the first time competition in an exclusively Indian sport would be held in the Asian Games. Kabaddi was included as demonstration sport in the 1982 Delhi Asian Games.
He said the final coaching camp of the Indian team was already in progress in Bangalore.
