LUCKNOW: Twenty eight passengers were killed and 17 others injured when a bus, in which they were traveling, caught fire near Ranikhet in Uttar Pradesh, official reports said Friday.
Of the 28 killed, bodies of 22 have been recovered.
The Bus, bound for Almora, Was carrying 45 passengers.
The bus caught fire suddenly and the cause of the mishap could not be ascertained immediately, the reports said.
Of the 17 injured, the condition of four was state to be serious while two were discharged after first-aid, the rest eleven others are still undergoing treatment,
