FORT GORDON, GA. — Gobind Singh will soon attain the age of 7 years. But speaking with a relative tone, he is much more mature when it comes to Korean martial art Taekwondo. Gobind, by now, has relentlessly pursued the practice of that art for at least 3 years. This valuable experience of Taekwondo has taken Gobind to such diverse places as Taegu, South Korea; San Antonio, Texas; and Augusta, Georgia.

Last month after going through gruesome training with all its ups and downs, Gobind successfully passed the final competitive test and then received the well-deserved honored Black Belt. According to Augusta’s oldest martial arts school Choi Karate Institute’s master instructor Mr. Charles Dunbar, Gobind is the youngest individual ever to wear the black belt.

Gobind Singh also entered in junior Olympics last year held in Tampa, Florida. His dream is to win a gold medal sometime in future in the main Summer Olympics. But at present, he is happy and satisfied with what he has.
