Dr. Chan has been included in California’s Who’s Who. A leading cardiologist of Fresno, he is actively involved in Sikh affairs. He was born 38 years ago in Ludhiana in Punjab. Dr. Chan schooled in A.S. higher secondary school, Khanna and Punjab University. His basic medical education was at govt. medical College at Patiala. In U.S.A, he has acquired training at Baltimore (Maryland), Hartford (Connecticut), Dr. H.S. Chan is certified by American Board of Internal Medicine to specialize in cardio vascular diseases. He is also a fellow of College of Cardiology and Chest Physician. Two papers by him have been published “Non Cardiogenic Pulmonary Edema Following I.V. Pyelography” and “Painless Heart Attack — Silent but Deadly.” Dr. Chan is happily married to Jagmeet who is also a doctor. Both are blessed with two children.
