Dr. Ranjit Singh Rajpal is one of the leading cardiologists of Fresno area. As being a committed Sikh and ardent supporter of the Sikh cause he is deeply respected by the Sikh community of Fresno area.

Dr. Rajpal was born to Sardarni Harnam Kaur and S, Gurcharan Singh on September 25, 1949 at Delhi. His father S. Gurcharan Singh was a pharmacist at New College Lahore. After partition of the country, S. Gurcharan Singh migrated to Delhi. Later his father joined service with Himachal Gout. Dr. Rajpal got his matriculation certificate from Goy. School Dharam Salad. Later he did premedical from Mohindra College Patiala, Dr. Rajpal got M.B.B.S. degree from Gout Medical Paliala in 1973.

Dr. Rajpal did internship in internal medicine from College of Medicine New Jersey. He also did residency in the same subject from the same institution in 1978. He completed his fellowship in cardiology from Medical College of Wisconsin in June 1980.

Dr. Rajpal has the rare honor of receiving “FACP” award (Fellow of American College of Physicians)’ on the basis of some rare writings on some special medical subject. He is also FACC member.

Dr. Rajpaul’s services were highly appreciated as the director of the Board of Directors” by the American Heart Association in 1988.

Dr. Rajpal was married to Mrs. Harjot Kaur and they are the proud parents of Preeti Kaur (10) Mandeep Kaur (8) Gagandeep Kaur (5) and Mansheel Kaur.
