JAMU, India: Two army officers were shot dead by a jawan of their unit at Pathankot, on May 28. According to the army sources, the incident occurred in the cantonment area. One of the officers Capt. Kuldip Takhur, hailed from Jammu. The army authorities could not tell the name of the other officer who is considered to be a Major. Unofficial sources said that the jawan who killed these officers had links with freedom fighters. A Court Martial enquiry has been ordered by the military authorities. One of the officers died on the spot and the other died at the hospital.
