NEW DELHL, India, Feb. 28, Reuter: Two policemen were killed by Gurkha militants in northwestern India on Sunday, the Press Trust of India news agency said.
The policemen were travelling in a convoy ambushed in Kurseong in the Darjeeling tea growing region, it said.
Police shot dead another Gurkha militant in the same area on Sunday, the agency said but gave no further details.
Some 145 people have been killed in 22 months of a violent Gurkha campaign for a separate homeland.
