Amritsar — one person was injured in a bomb blast in Putlighar area here on Wednesday night, according to the police.
The injured, identified as Raj Kumar (20), was admitted to a local hospital where his condition was described as serious.
The bomb blast occurred in Gali number three of Mehnga Singh Nagar in Putligarh area.
The senior superintendent of police, Mr. Bua Singh, along with a heavy police force, reached the spot and began investigations.
The police said Raj Kumar earlier during the day had a fight with the owner of the factory in which he was working. They are still investigating whether the factory owner or any other person had lobbed the explosive at Raj Kumar.
