Rahul: Daddy?
Rajiv: Yes, son.
Rah: Will we have to give Chandigarh to the Sikhs?
Raj: It seems inevitable, son, Chandigarh, I believe, will have to be sacrificed.
Rah: Daddy, are they getting it chap?
Raj: They are not going to pay more than the cost price and, of course, they will have to give up some land.
Rah: I wasn’t thinking in those terms, dad.
Raj: What are you thinking, son?
Rah: My computer has calculated that so far the Sikhs have sacrificed exactly 1.73 human lives for each home in Chandigarh. This includes the homes already owned by the Sikhs.
Raj: Don’t put it that way, son, you scare me.
Rah: Daddy, are the Sikhs getting Chandigarh cheap?
Raj: Shut off your computer, son, go out and play.
