Chali (40) Mukte of Chamkaur Sahib (1st Dharam Yudh), Schaj Singh, Sardul Singh, Sarup Singh, *Sahib Singh, Sujan Singh, Sher Singh, Sewa Singh, Sangat Singh, Sant Singh, Hardas Singh, *Himmat Singh, Karam Singh, Kirpal Singh, Kharag Singh, Gurdas Singh, Gurdit Singh, Gulab Singh, Ganga Singh, Ganda Singh, Charat Singh, Jwahar Singh, Jaimal Singh, Jwala Singh, Jhanda Singh, Tek Singh, Thakar Singh, Trilok Singh, Dyal Singh, Damodar Singh, Narian Singh, Nihal Singh, Punjab Singh, Prem Singh, Basawa Singh, Bishan Singh, Bhagwan Singh, Matab Singh, *Mohkam Singh, Ranjit Singh, Rattan Singh, five Singhs who were conferred Gurta while leaving the Chamkaur Di Garhi were: Daya Singh, Dharam Singh, Man Singh, Sangat Singh and Sant Singh, Sangat Singh resembled to that of Guru Gobind Singh who was given the plume, stuck to the post with seven Singhs including himself. Bhai Daya Singh, Bhai Dharam Singh and Bhai Man Singh accompanied Guru Gobind Singh while leaving the Garhi, Dec.22 mid-night, *Beloved ones.

However, during the night, the three also lost the touch and Guru was alone to reach Machhiwara, where he sang a most famous Hymn:

Go tell the plight of his devotees to my beloved Lord.

The luxury of soft beds is agony without Him,

It is like living in a snakepit.

The goblet is poison and the cup a dagger,

Life is like receiving the punches of a butcher’s dagger.

I would rather like in hiding, with my Beloved;

It’s hell living with strangers without Him.
