NEW DELHI: Tejwant Singh and his wife Surinder Kaur were sent to Tihar jail last week for their failure to pay to those who booked fats advertised by their construction company, Skipper. The couple will have to remain in jail for six months in terms of a Supreme Court order.
Tejwant was the person drafted by Buta Singh for the government sponsored construction of Akal Takhat in 1984 in the wake of Operation Blue ‘Star.
