JAIPUR: Six persons were killed and four injured in a stampede in the complex of Dargah of Moinuddin Chisti in Ajmer in the Rajasthan state this morning, it was officially stated here.
The stampede followed the panic which spread when some devotees slipped from a staircase leading from Akbar Masjid to Mahfil Khana and were trampled. Five of them died of suffocation on the spot while one died in the Jawabarlal Nehru hospital.
