CHANDIGARH, Feb 1 Four persons including a college lecturer, was gunned down and another two were injured in Punjab.
Two gunmen shot dead Mohinder Singh at Sathiala village Amritsar district. Gunmen also shot dead Mr. P.D. Aggarwal a lecturer in D.M. College, Moga, outside the brick kiln owned by his father at Lahara village in Faridkot district today.
His father, who is the president of the Moga City Congress (I) Committee, was not harmed. The assailants escaped in the car of the deceased.
Three other gunmen shot dead a shopkeeper, Satpal, at Sanghera village in Faridkot district last night.
Pishora Singh was shot dead by some unidentified people in his house at Butter Kalan village in Majitha police district yesterday.
Two people snatched Rs 66,174 from the cashier of the Punjab Land Mortgage Bank at Patiala today.
