Islamabad: Pakistan President Mohammad Ziaul Haq will be paying a one day visit to Delhi on December 16. He is expected to discuss matters of mutual concern with Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. Significantly his visit will coincide with the date on which Pakistan army had surrendered to

Indian forces in East Pakistan, now Bangladesh. President Zia has already met Rajiv four times after the latter assumed office of the Prime Minister. Rajiv Gandhi has been lately very critical of Pakistan for developing nuclear weapons and has also blamed it for helping and training Sikh “separatists.”
