VANCOUVER: Parents wanting to take control of the remote controls could soon have the power to block unwanted television programs from their home with a Canadian made device called V you Control, V you Control uses the same technology as used to create closed captioning for the hearing impaired V you Control was invented by Simon Fraser University engineering professor Tim Collings. The process involves picking up the signal by a decoder programmed to black out shows viewers decide to zap.
