The World Sikh Organization is a nonprofit organization set up in 1984 by the Sikhs lo strive, through peaceful means for the establishment of a Sikh nation, Khalistan in order to protect the Sikh identity and faith as ordained by our Gurus and to promote the rights of all humankind, to educate the public and to preserve and protect the rights of members of the Sikh religion, and members of other religions who still suffer oppression on the basis of creed, or whose civil and political rights are consistently abused. AS a self-supporting, nongovernmental organization that receives no governmental finding, we work for the benefit of all Sikhs Internationally by providing a source of information. We at the World Sikh Organization profoundly shocked and strongly condemn, the burning of the 535 years old Muslim Holy Shrine, Charar-e-Sharief in Kashmir. This reminds us the shameful attack on the Golden Temple, our most sacred shrine in June 1984, killing thousands of innocent men and women, young and old, We express our heartfelt sympathy tour Kashmiri brothers at this time of great horror, Sajjan Singh Bhangoo Executive Director, World Sikh Org.
