APPEALS

To The Sikhs Of The Tri-State To Join A Protest

Demonstration

On

June 9, 1988

To mark the Indian Army’s assault of June, 1984 on the Golden Temple, Amritsar and continuing desecration of the holiest shrine of the Sikhs in the latest attack on the Golden Temple.

The protest will also condemn Indian Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi who is scheduled to address the U.N. on the same day.

W.S.O. also appeals to all the

Sikh Organizations to join this demonstration in full strength to show our unity in fighting the repression of the Indian government against the Sikhs in Punjab and other parts of the country.
