JUST WHEN: journalistic circles felt that Editor H.K. Dua of Hindustan Times has made his point and emerged even with the management, he had to face another major problem. This was sparked off by reported management pressures on whom to publish Subramaniam Swamy’s “documents” on V.P. Singh’s alleged links with the CIA. According to The Indian Post, Dua was opposed to publishing Swamy’s revelations but HT’s high-profile boss, Shobhana Bharatiya, insisted and ensured that they went into the paper.

According to the Post the revelations actually came from the other globetrotting Swami.
