VIRGINIA ; Commission Hearings of Sikh Foundation of Virginia Gurdwara was Narinder Singh were held before the Commission on May 2,1994 starting at 10 a.m. sharp in the Judicial Courts of Fairfax County At this hearing the SFY. Gurdwara was represented by their two Lawyers Gurdwara Chairman  Mr.Parmvir Sing hard De N. Genild Barrier PHD Professor of South Asia History University of Missouri on Defend an is Verses Narinder Singh et al. were represented by Amrit Singh Sethi and Amarjit Singh Sethi of the Work  Sikh Origin and their Lawyer Ms Jeanne Lauer Esqr. There were abour30 men and women who were In the Court room to witch the Court Proceedings.

Dr N. Gerald Battier was examined all day except for the lunch break. Dr. Barrier was first questioned by S.F.V. Gurdwaras Lawyers whose main objection was that their Gurdwara does not come under the jurisdiction of Sri AR ‘Takhat Sahib Dr Borrice was cross examined by Jeanne Lal Esqr who questioned Dr. Barrier to whether he admitted the issued the supreme authority of Sri Takhat Sahib Readmitted that ‘Takhat has been the supreme authority of the Sikhs since its existence from the time of Guru Har Gobind Sahib the Sixth Guru

At the close of the Proceedings ONE WITNESS Mr Sabharwal secretary of the S.F.V. was Cross examined by Lawyers including Mr Sethi. Mr Sethi played & great role with regards to defending the significance of Gurdwara which means the Home of the Guru saying ho individual his any   towards the Property of Gurdwara. After this meeting the proceedings of the Court came end. The Court will resume Proceedings before the Commission on May 1994 at 10am.
