CHICAGO: The Sikh American community of Chicago is celebrating its cultural heritage the Vaisakhi festival on Saturday April 11 at 5 pam. at Lane Tech High School Auditorium 2501 W. Addison Street in Chicago. A traditional Punjabi cultural variety program titled “Rangla Punjab” will showcase Bhangra Gidha Punjabi songs Music Poetry and Youth items from the land of five rivers Punjab where Vaisakhi is a major festival.

In a written announcement by that “This not-for-profit show is being organized by the Sikh community to promote Punjabi language cultural heritage and local community talent we are exposing our youth to our culture heritage and roots. All are invited to participate” said Rajinder Singh Mago member of Sikh Community Affairs Committee the organizers of this function.
