AMRITSAR, Punjab, India: The Executive Committee of the Unified Akali Dal which met at Amritsar for two days on July 19 and 20th could not reach any conclusion for the mode or the process of protest to register their anguish at the start of the Parliamentary session at New Delhi. They decided to hand over this issue to the Chief of Akal Takht for final decision to be made in the Panthic Convention already convened by them on August 4. The Committee preferred to join a symbolic dharna being organized by the other minorities in front of the Parliament House on its opening day but its final decision was also left to the Singh Sahibs and the Panthic Convention.
