VANCOUVER, B.C., Can: S. Gian Singh Sandhu, President World Sikh Organization (Canada) informed World Sikh News that the application of World Sikh Organization for the grant of nongovernment Organization Status in the United Nations has been withheld on some technical grounds. S. Gian Singh, it may be recalled, was made in charge of this project by the W.S.O. Governing Council. He, however, said that immediate steps are being taken to remove the technical bottlenecks. Replying to question about the chance of his success, he said he was “pretty hopeful”.
