SINGAPORE  (PTI):Two people were killed and 10 missing when 13,000 ton pleasure cruise ship “Royal Pacific” sank after colliding with a Taiwanese trawler in the straits of Malacca Aug.23.

Eight Indian nationals were among the 516 persons packing the Greek-owned ship.

A Port of Singapore Authority  (PSA) statement said that 504 persons were rescued and are on their way to Singapore on board two other vessels.
