Chandigarh, April 5 — Two of the four activists who had escaped from police custody in December, have been arrested.
The four under trials were being taken under police escort in a bus. When it neared Chirak village near Moga, the under trials escaped from the bus. They also took away the rifles of the policemen escorting them.
Meanwhile, the police are understood to have established the identity of the two assailants who had made an abortive attempt on the life of the Amritsar BJP leader, Mr. Om Parkash Sehgal, on April 2.
