Chandigarh: The annual elections of office bearers of S.G.P.C. will be held on November 29, 1985. S. Gurcharan Singh Tohra will be Akali Dal official nominee for the 14th term in succession. Besides the President there would be election for Vice-president, Junior Vice-president, General Secretary and 12 members of the Executive. United Akali Dal is also considering putting up either S. Jagdev Singh Talwandi or S. Atma Singh for the President ship. Political circles do not attach much importance to the resignations of S. Randhir Singh Cheema and Bibi Satwant Kaur from the United Akali Dal as very few workers have left the party on account of their resignations.
