Chicago: The Punjabi community of Chicago honored Surinder Kaur, famous Punjabi Singh on Oct.9,1993.

It was her Golden Jubilee of singing Punjabi songs which was celebrated at Holiday Inn in Itasca, with banquet dinner and a program of songs and dances. Surinder Kaur was presented a trophy by Dr.S.P.Dhaliwal, a well-known doctor associated with the VA Hospital of Chicago.

Surinder Kaur presented trophies to local artist in appreciation of their performance. The audience of over 230 people were entertained to an engaging program by the famous artist herself.
