A five judge constitution bench headed by justice L.M.Sharma passed the order of stay on a petition by the secretary challenging the orders of the speaker. He had contended that the speaker had reverted and suspended him in the same order as a reprisal for his obeying the orders of the apex court in the MLA disqualification case.
