STOCKTON, Ca. Some twenty representatives of different churches in Stockton held their latest meeting in Gurdwara Stockton on Tuesday, June 9, 1987 at the invitation of the committee members. They were served with Guru Ka Langar. After the langar, the basic Sikh tenets and present Sikh problem in India were explained to them by S. Lakhmir Singh Grewal and Prof. M.S. Sidhu. Dr. H.S. Shergill showed the video on the Operation Bluestar and the anti-Sikh riots of 1984.
Afterwards, they were conducted to the main gurdwara and after the “Ardas” and “Vak” they left. They were highly impressed by the Sikh way of life.
